Submariner Day
Nicholas II by his decree of March 19, 1906 added a new category to the classification of warships - submarines. The same decree stated that henceforth 10 submarines were included in the composition of the vessels of the Russian fleet. These were submarines officially put on the balance of the navy. In fact, submarines have already taken part in military battles before. For example, even in the Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905) underwater equipment terrified enemy sailors. And the very first submarine was launched back in 1904. and got the name "Dolphin". So the Russian submarine fleet was born, which currently includes not just diesel submarines, but modern submarine missile and torpedo nuclear cruisers.

March 19, 1474 Copyright law passed
This historic event took place in Venice, where the first law protecting the rights of inventors was passed. According to the law, the authors had exclusive rights to their inventions and a specific period of protection of these rights was established. It is noteworthy that the authors themselves reacted rather coolly to this law. They believed that everything that they invented would have been impossible to create without God's participation. Therefore, they did not recognize the moral right to their sole authorship. Even such lifetime celebrities as Leonardo da Vinci, who, incidentally, lived in Venice at that time, could not decide to officially fix the copyright to his inventions.
March 19, 1899 Opening of the first Russian ambulance station
This event took place in St. Petersburg. The first station was equipped with four pairs of stretchers, two steam-powered crews and other medical supplies for first aid. In March 1934 Mitrofan Nikitin, a resident of the village of Shipka and an employee of the Progress state farm, arrived in Moscow. Entering the premises of the Mausoleum, he took out a gun and fired two shots at the embalmed body of V.I. Lenin, none of which hit the target. Nikitin was captured, but before that he managed to kill himself with a shot in the heart. In a posthumous note found in his pocket, Mitrofan Nikitin complained that all around poverty, hunger, diseases were rampant. The local government does not take measures, there is no one to complain, people are scared. Blamed the socialist system, the Communists and their main leader - Lenin. Going to crime, he knew that he would die, imagining his death as a protest against the Soviet government on behalf of the common people. The note lay in the secret archives for almost 60 years.
March 19, 2007 Explosion at Ulyanovskaya mine
The Ulyanovskaya mine that day suffered a major accident: methane exploded. Killed 110 people. As the commission of inquiry established, the official negligence of mine personnel and gross violation of safety regulations led to the tragedy. Alexander Ivanovich Pokryshkin (19/03/1913 - 13/11/85), the legendary fighter pilot.
The pride and glory of Soviet aviation, Alexander Pokryshkin, shot down more than a dozen enemy aircraft during the Great Patriotic War. Officially, 59 is considered (more than Kozhedub only - 62), but according to unofficial data - about a hundred. It is a well-known fact that Pokryshkin often shot down enemy planes at the expense of his comrades in order to cheer them up and boost morale. It was a pilot from God: a fearless pilot, moreover, well versed in the design of aircraft. He developed tactics of air combat. He constantly carried a notebook with him, where he made sketches of new schemes of air battles, and came up with new tactical methods. The name of this pilot became a household name during his lifetime. Only by his presence in the sky, he instilled fear and horror on the enemy. The Nazis were ready to pay a huge fee for his head. But nobody managed to get it. Alexander Ivanovich Pokryshkin was a Hero of the Soviet Union, who was the first to receive this award three times. The grave of Alexander Pokryshkin is located at the Novodevichy cemetery.

His concerts are more reminiscent of bright, costumed performances, where each song is a separate small performance.
