Scientists from the United States found out that children of 10-11 years old, who have not learned to make decisions quickly on their own, begin to take risky actions closer to their teens.

The study was based on observing the lives of 100 children. It was found that indecisive children to 15-16 years old have problems with the adaptation in society of their peers. Among such young people, there are often cases of unjustified risk, taking various psychoactive drugs and quite aggressive sexual behavior.

Experts are convinced that the process of teaching a child to make independent decisions should begin as early as possible and not end with the age of 12 years. Only then can one expect that by the age of 16 a teenager will be fully developed.
