Experts, after analyzing the chemical composition of pencils imported from China, found in them extremely dangerous for human health elements, in particular, lead. Scientists say: taking the tips of such pencils in your mouth (as children like to do this) is extremely dangerous, since the concentration of this chemical element in the human body increases. One of the factories producing such pencils has already been closed: more than thirty children showed elevated lead levels.
Despite the fact that China’s economy is developing at a rapid pace and the country is becoming a world leader, not all the factories and plants located on its territory observe all necessary safety standards. Striving for quantity, not quality, Chinese manufacturers ignore sanitary requirements, which threaten the health and lives of many people.
