Despite the venerable age, Queen Elizabeth II leads a fairly active lifestyle. 88 years - not a hindrance to engage in equestrian sport.

Spring is in the yard, and it means it's time to resume horseback riding on the territory of Elizabeth Castle. For the trip, the queen chose her favorite pony.

Elizabeth II is not only a connoisseur, but also a connoisseur of horses. In her stable about twenty-five horses, all as one excellent breed.

The queen is also a horse breeder, purchasing purebred horses around the world. Her racers more than once became prize-winners of various competitions, and Elizabeth II proudly keeps the prizes received by her horses on the mantelpiece.
