Scientists have developed a unique technology that allows you to adjust the genome of adult fish, as a result of this experiment, it became possible not only to create a specific mutation, but also to return genes to the state in which they were in the wild.

The procedure for changing the DNA of fish is the following process: DNA fragments and enzymes are introduced to the fry, which themselves find the necessary DNA fragments and change them, thus changing the genetics of the fish. The new genetic setup is inherited and can manifest itself not only in the subsequent, but also in later generations of individuals.

The main complexity of the procedure lies in the fact that the DNA section necessary for the introduction is created by the synthetic method, only the artificial effect helps the foreign gene to invade the DNA segment that the scientist has chosen. The so-called molecular chimeras are the main tool of scientists, with the help of which they managed to make a unique discovery.
